What are Registered Plans?

A registered plan is the official survey drawing of a parcel of land that has been lodged and recorded with the Queensland Titles Registry. It’s a legal document that shows how land is divided, described, and identified, and it forms the basis for issuing property titles.

How Do I Obtain This Document?

  1. Gather information: You’ll need the property’s lot on plan number, which you can find on your property’s rates notice or title deed.
  2. Visit the Titles Queensland Online Title and Image Searches (OTIS) website
  3. Search for your property by entering your lot and plan number (or your property details)
  4. Select the registered plan document
  5. Pay the fee.
