What Is the External Selections Consultation?
The External Selections Consultation is a dedicated meeting with your Selections Consultant to walk through your completed or in-progress External Selections Schedule. It’s your opportunity to review, refine, and resolve any outstanding decisions before finalisation.
This session ensures your selections are accurate, buildable, and aligned with both your scope of works and approvals — reducing the risk of delays or rework later on.
What Happens During the Consultation?
During this consultation, in accordance with your scope of works, you and your consultant may:
- Look at your Building Designer's work (your plans so far) for your external features and selections
- Discuss any missing items, compliance concerns, or product clashes
- Confirm product names, colours, finishes, and installation details
- Note additional requirements for any custom products
- Agree on the next steps to finalise the External Selections Schedule
Depending on your progress, this may be an intro session, a review session, a guided walkthrough, or a focused check before sign-off.

- Clearly understand your external elevations as detailed on your plans so far
- Be on time and ready to share your screen or selections, if requested
- Prepare any specific product details or supplier info available for reference

- Be ready to take notes or make quick updates if needed
