Upload These Required Documents Beforehand

You have created this project as "require design" - if you are at a different stage, please contact your Onboarding Specialist.   The documents required to start your project (listed above) is specific to what stage your project has currently progressed to. Your Onboarding Specialist can guide you if there are other documents required. Please also look at the additional recommended documents list below.

Tip: Quick Win!

Uploading your required documents now keeps everything running smoothly.

Without them:

  • Your workflow setup can’t be configured accurately
  • Parts of your meeting may need to be repeated or rescheduled
  • Next steps in your project could be delayed
  • Trades and consultants will be chasing you for these documents if they are not already uploaded

RECOMMENDED: also upload these documents, if you already have them.

These documents can be uploaded before or after your meeting. Providing them early helps us configure your workflow more accurately — but don’t worry if you don’t have them yet, your Build Buddy workflow will guide you to get everything you need.

  • Documents needed for trades:

    • Report - Before You Dig

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why are you asking for these particular documents?

These documents help us tailor your workflow accurately and efficiently. When you first signed up, you told us you're currently at the “Ready for Construction” stage. Based on that, we’ve generated a list of documents to help us customise your experience.

  • Why does uploading documents matter?

    Uploading docs matter because:

    • Any files added to your Document Library will automatically be shown in any tasks where that file is considered relevant.
    • Providing detailed documents like plans or permits allows for precise quotes from any Pros you may engage.
    • Shared documents keep everyone informed, reducing misunderstandings or delays, and eliminates the need to multiple emails to share files throughout the project journey.
    • Centralised documents make it easier to manage and reference project details when needed.
    • Once a document has been uploaded, it could trigger new tasks to open up or standby tasks to progress.
    • Your Customer Experience Manager will need to review these documents during your Workflow Customisation Meeting.
  • What if my project is not at the stage of "require design"?

No worries! If your project is actually at a different stage, let your Onboarding Specialist know — we’ll update your setup so that your required documents list matches your current stage. We want to help you get your project setup for a smooth journey ahead.

  • What file name should I use when uploading documents?

You don’t need to rename anything! When you click 'Upload' under the Documents tab, simply select a pre-set file name from the drop-down list and upload your document to the matching name in the table. This keeps everything organised and your workflow running smoothly.

  • What happens after I upload documents?

Once you’ve uploaded the required documents, you’re all set for your Workflow Customisation Meeting. We’ll review them in advance so we can hit the ground running and set your project up for success.
