What is a Brickyard Appointment?

A Brickyard Appointment is an in-person meeting at a brick supplier’s selection centre — like PGH Bricks or Austral Bricks — where you view physical brick samples and make your final brick selection for your home’s external façade.

Why is this Needed?

It ensures your bricks are:

  • Chosen early to avoid supply delays
  • Compliant with estate or council requirements
  • Locked in with the supplier for ordering and delivery — preventing delays in approvals or external construction works

How it Works

1. Confirm your supplier: Check with your builder or coordinator which supplier you’ll be using — typically PGH Bricks or Austral Bricks

2. Book your appointment with your supplier

3. Prepare for your selection. Bring the following to help guide your decision:

  • Developer or estate guidelines (if applicable)
  • Builder-supplied plans, façade packages, or inclusions list
  • Photos or examples of looks you like (optional)

4. Attend your brick selection appointment

  • View physical samples of colours, textures, and finishes
  • Ask staff about availability, lead times, and compliance
  • Discuss how your chosen brick may look with your roof, windows, or render

5. Lock in your brick selection

  • Write down the exact brick name and product code
  • Send it to your builder, estimator, or upload it to Build Buddy
