What Is a Footpath Permit Quality Check?

Once your Footpath Permit has been issued by your local council, it’s important to review the approval details carefully to ensure it meets all the requirements of your planned works and reflects what you applied for.

This quality check helps confirm that the approval is valid, accurate, and that you’re clear on any site obligations before works begin.

Why is this Needed?

A quick check can prevent:

  • Delays or fines due to working outside approved timeframes or zones
  • Conflicts with utility services, street trees, or council inspections
  • The need for reapplication or on-site rectification work

How it Works

1. Open the Footpath Permit quality checklist located in the Scope of Works tab for this task.

2. Raise a defect or seek clarification if needed
3. If something is missing, unclear, or incorrect, contact your council or planner before proceeding.

4. Once the permit is verified, you’re ready to begin footpath-related works as approved.

Once Verified

Once your Footpath Permit has been verified, upload it to the Document Library and then click the orange “Mark Complete” button to move to the next step in your construction workflow.
