What Is A Flooring and Tiles Appointment?
A Flooring & Tiles Appointment is a scheduled, in-person consultation at your supplier’s showroom (such as CTM or a partnered vendor). This is where you’ll finalise your choices for:
- Internal floor finishes (e.g. hybrid timber, tiles, carpet)
- Wet area tiles (e.g. bathroom walls, laundry splashbacks)
- Feature tile designs (e.g. niches, wall strips)

Why is this Needed?
Your selections are required so you can:
- Order flooring and tiles in time for site installation
- Coordinate with tilers and floor layers
- Finalise room finish specifications (especially for wet areas)
- Ensure compliance with developer or estate design guidelines
How it Works
1. Contact our Expert Guidance and Support team. They will confirm your assigned supplier.
2. Your vendor will reach out directly. Once referred, the supplier (e.g. CTM) will contact you within 5 business days to schedule your appointment.
3. If needed, visit the vendor’s website:
- Look for a “Book Appointment” section
- Fill in your details and note you are a Build Buddy owner-builder
4. Attend your showroom appointment. Bring:
- Your house plans
- Any moodboards or style references
- Estate/developer guidelines (if applicable)
