Once you’ve completed your External Selections and progressed through approvals, you’re ready to start selecting internal finishes that reflect your style, needs, and budget.
To begin, contact Build Buddy Support and request access to the Internal Selections tab within your Selections Tool.
This unlocks a new set of categories in your dashboard, tailored to the internal areas of your home.
What Does the Selections Tool Help You Do?
As you move into internal selections, the tool helps you:
- Organise decisions across key areas like flooring, joinery, paint, lighting, and appliances
- View pre-approved product options or add custom selections
- Record supplier links, colour names, or specific models
- Add notes for clarification or installation preferences
- Track what’s done and what’s still outstanding
It gives you full visibility and control, without needing to juggle spreadsheets or emails.
Recommendation: Prioritise High-Impact Decisions First
Start with the big-impact decisions first — like flooring, kitchen finishes, and paint colours — as these will influence many of your smaller choices. Having a clear vision for these anchor items makes it easier to stay consistent across the rest of your internal selections.

- Your approved or near-final building design
- Completed External Selections (or close to final)
- A sense of your preferred internal finishes and styles
