What is a Staircase Appointment?
A Staircase Appointment is a
design consultation with your supplier or installer where you finalise all details related to your staircase — including the
layout, materials, balustrade type, tread design, and finishes. This step ensures the design is both functional and visually aligned with your home.
Why is this Needed?
Your staircase design must:
- Comply with the National Construction Code (NCC) and safety standards
- Fit your floor plan, ceiling height, and space constraints
- Be finalised for accurate quoting, fabrication, and installation timelines
- Reflect your overall interior style and finish preferences
How it Works
- Contact BuildBuddy to make a referral for Genneral Staircase
- Genneral Staircase will then contact you within 5 business days to confirm a suitable time to attend the appointment
Once Received
Once you've confirmed your
Staircase Selections, upload it to the Document Library and then click the
orange “Mark Complete” button to move to the next step in your construction workflow.
